008-2009 Penn Wood High School Delco Hi-Q Team receives a commendation for Most Improved Hi-Q Team.

The Delaware County Intermediate Unit and the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union hosted their annual Partners in Learning Banquet on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at the Drexelbrook Banquet Facility.

The members of the 2008-2009 Penn Wood High School Delco Hi-Q Team were honored, and the team received a commendation for Most Improved Hi-Q Team. Penn Wood High School senior Aaron Gravely was named to the 2009 All-Delco Hi-Q Team.

Ms. Stephanie Farmer, Park Lane Elementary School Gifted Support Teacher, received a 2009 Delaware County Excellence in Teaching Award. Only 18 teachers in Delaware County are selected to receive this award each year.

The Penn Wood High School Student-Operated Branch of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union also received recognition at the event.
