Duane Johnson, Class of 2009

I think everyone needs to know that the William Penn School District not only produces "state champion" athletes but honorable young men and women that will contribute to their society for many years after they have graduated.

Here is the list of awards Duane has received this year:

- Delaware County Male Scholar Athlete of the Year for Penn Wood High School (honored at a reception by Congressman Joe Sestak)
- Delaware County Scholar Athlete Hall of Fame Recipient (luncheon will be held on 5/14/09)
- Delaware County 1st Team All-Star Athlete (second year - dinner TBA)
- Inducted into the National Honor Society
- Nominated to the McDonald's All Star Basketball Team
